Ahead of its much awaited Mi5 launch at MWC 2016, Xiaomi has announced the upgraded version of Mi 4, named as Xiaomi Mi 4s. The metal framed smartphone is priced at 1699 Yuan (approx Rs. 18,000).
The Xiaomi Mi 4s features a 5 inch Full HD (1920 X 1080 pixels) IPS display with pixel density of 441 ppi. It is powered by 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 808 processor, paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. It will be available in 64 GB storage variant, which is further expandable via microSD card. It runs on MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow.
The Mi 4s sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, PDAF, and a 5 megapixel selfie camera. It is packed with a 3260 mAh removable battery.
The Mi 4S is a dual Sim smartphone that offers connectivity options like 4G/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The smartphone comes with a glass panel on rear and front and a fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi is expected announce same device along with its flagship phone Mi 5 and some other devices, just a few hours later at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.
