Vivo’s upcoming smartphone dubbed by the name Vivo X9s Plus has been spotted online on TENNA. The leak reveals the detailed specifications of the smartphone which indicates that this is yet another mid-range selfie centric smartphone from Vivo.

The smartphone was recently certified by Chinese telecommunication authority (TENNA), as per which the Vivo X9s Plus appears to be sporting a 5.58-inch Full-HD display along with 1.95 GHz octa-core processor (unspecified) under the hood. The smartphone will come with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The device seems to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Coming towards the camera department, the Vivo X9s Plus will hold a 16 MP rear camera with single LED flash and a dual front camera setup with 20 MP and 5 MP sensors. The device packs a 3,920 mAh battery for its powering and measures 162.59×78.84×7.25 mm with 183.2 grams of weight.

The smartphone is expected be launched in China in coming months considering it has been certified by the Ministry of Industry Radio Frequency in China. However the fact that it is a China specific model or will be a Global product is still unknown.

The Vivo X9s Plus could prove to be a direct competition to the recently launched Oppo F3 which holds similar specifications along with the dual front camera setup. At present, the Oppo F3 comes at price tag of under Rs. 20,000 and it will be interesting to see how Vivo prices its smartphone to further turn on the heat.
