Vivo X9s and X9s Plus with 4 GB RAM and dual front camera setup launched

Vivo, as it was scheduled has launched its much awaited X9s and X9s Plus smartphones in China. Both the smartphones come in as the successors of Vivo X9 and X9 Plus smartphones launched last year. The Vivo X9s is priced at RMB 2,698 (Rs. 25,600 approx), where as the bigger variant i.e the Vivo X9s Plus holds a price tag of  RMB 2,998 (Rs 28,500 approx). Both the smartphone are up for pre-orders on official Vivo store in China and there is no word regarding its availability in India or other markets as of now.

As far as the design is concerned, both the smartphones look similar except their sizes, where obviously the X9s Plus is bigger. The smartphones hold a sleek metal-uni-body with antenna bands running through the top and bottom of the rear. On the front you’ll find a capsule shaped home button which doubles up as fingerprint scanner. The design also some what resembles to Vivo V5 Plus smartphone launched previously, which also holds a dual front camera set-up.

Talking about the specifications, the Vivo X9s sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD ( 1920×1080 pixels) display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor. The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage which is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone houses a 3,320 mAh battery to power itself.

Coming towards the Vivo X9s Plus, it sports a bigger 5.85 -inch Full-HD ( 1920×1080 pixels) display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage same as that of the X9s. The X9s Plus packs a bigger 4,015 mAh battery to keep it running for long hours.

In the imaging department, both the smartphones hold a 16 MP rear camera with LED flash. The highlight of the smartphones is dual camera setup at the front with a 20 MP sensor and a 5 MP sensor. Both the smartphones run on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The connectivity options include, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and micro USB port.
