Vivo X7 and X7 Plus with Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB RAM and 16MP rear camera launched

Vivo has introduced two new smartphones in China, dubbed as Vivo X7 and X7 Plus. Both the smartphones will be available in Gold and Rose Gold color variants.

The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus have many similarities including the 1.8GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor, which is paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAM. They both run on Funtouch OS 2.5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and have 64 GB of internal storage. However, the Vivo X7 Plus is also available in 128GB storage variant. Both also feature a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture soft LED flash and also houses a Fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo X7 comes with 5.2-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, while the X7 Plus flaunts a 5.7-inch screen with same resolution and display. The X7 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF, whereas the X7 bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, IMX298 sensor, PDAF. The former is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging, while the latter is packed with a 4000mAh battery, also with fast charging capability.

Connectivity options on both the smartphone include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. The Vivo X7 is priced at 2498 yuan (approx. Rs. 25,400) and will go on sale in China from July 7th. Whereas, the Vivo X7 Plus price will be known on July 15th. It is still unclear when these smartphones will be hit the Indian market.
