Vivo launched its selfie-focused smartphone the Vivo V5 in India in November 2016. Now, the company has sent out invites for the launch of its successor, dubbed as the ‘Vivo V5 Plus’ in India on 23rd January. The smartphone will pack dual front cameras.
The Vivo V5 smartphone comes with 20MP selfie camera and now the Vivo V5 Plus will come with dual selfie camera to set new standards in the industry. The Lenovo Vibe S1 and LG V10 are other smartphones in India which houses dual selfie cameras.
To recall, the Vivo V5 comes with a metal body design and a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, a 1.8GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 3000 mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 2.6.
The Vivo V5 was launched in India at Rs. 17,980 and the pricing of Vivo V5 Plus could be higher than that considering the dual selfie camera setup. However, the exact specifications and price of Vivo V5 Plus will be known at the launch event only. Stay tuned for more updates!
