Videocon has launched a new budget 4G smartphone, dubbed as ‘Videocon Ultra30’ in India at a price tag of Rs. 8,590. Earlier, the Videocon Ultra 50 smartphone was launched in October this year at Rs. 8,990.
The Videocon Ultra30 features a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with MiraVision and DragontrailX 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM.
On the camera front, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash as well for low light selfies. It comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card.
The dual sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and FM radio. Some other features include dual WhatsApp, SOS-be-safe and gesture controls. It measures at 144×73.8×9.8mm and weighs at 166.5g.
