Like every year, Sony seems to be all set to launch its flagship smartphone at the upcoming IFA 2016 event. The company has confirmed that it has an event scheduled on September 1st at IFA 2016.
According to PhoneRadar, Sony would launch the earlier leaked Xperia F8331 as the flagship smartphone and will be officially named as Sony Xperia XR. As for the specifications, it is expected to feature a 5.1-inch Full HD display, powered by Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. A 21-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 12-megapixel front camera. The Xperia XR will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
However, this is just the initial leak, so we advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
