Sony India has launched two new smartphones dubbed as, Sony Xperia X Dual and Xperia XA Dual at Rs. 48,990 and Rs. 20,990 in the country. Both these Android 6.0 based smartphones were first showcased at MWC 2016.
Sony Xperia X Dual:
The Sony Xperia X Dual features a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos display and is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor with Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB RAM. It bears 32 GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 200GB via microSD card.
The Xperia X Dual sports a 23-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0aperture, Predictive Hybrid AF, and 1080p video recording. It also has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle lens, and 1080p video recording. The device includes a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 2900mAh Battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, and NFC. It measures 143.6 x 66.8 x 7.9mm and weighs 137.4 g.
Sony Xperia XA:
The Sony Xperia XA Dual comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) curved glass edge-to-edge display powered by Mobile Bravia engine 2. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage, expandable support up to 200GB via microSD card.
The Xperia XA Dual houses a 13-megapixel camera with Exmor RS sensor, hybrid autofocus, and LED flash. It also boasts an 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2300 mAh battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. It measures 143.6 × 66.8 × 7.9mm and weighs 138 grams.
The Xperia X Dual and Xperia XA Dual will be offered in White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold and Rose Gold color variants and are priced at Rs. 48,990 and Rs. 20,990, respectively. However, the Xperia X Dual is now available for pre-order on Amazon.in at discounted price of Rs. 46,990 and will go on sale from 7th June. Whereas, the Xperia XA Dual will be available starting from the third week of June.
