The Indian manufacturer, Smartron has launched its first smartphone dubbed as Smartron t.phone. The all metal unibody designed smartphone is priced at Rs. 22,999, and will go on sale via Gadgets 360 and the Smartron t.store, from early June.
The Smartron t.phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It bears 64 GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The t.phone sports 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash, PDAF, 6P lens, and f/2.0 aperture. It also houses a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is packed with a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C.
The Smartron t.phone will be offered in Orange, Silver, Blue and Violet color variants. The company has also launched the t.book Windows 10 laptop few days ago.
