Smartron, today has launched its ‘srt.phone’ keeping things on schedule. The srt.phone is the first ever Sachin Tendulkar branded smartphone and was unveiled by him itself. The smartphone is priced in the mid-segment and contains some promising specs. The srt.phone comes in two variants, one with 32 GB internal storage priced at Rs. 12,999 and another with 64 GB internal storage priced at Rs. 13,999. The smartphone is exclusively available for sale on Flipkart.
The key specifications of Smartron srt.phone include a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and internal storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB as mentioned earlier which can also be expanded via microSD card. The company is offering unlimited t.cloud storage as well, with its tronx platform. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat along with Stock Android UI on top.
For imaging, we are looking at a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase-detection auto focus and LED flash. There is a 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture as well. The connectivity options of the srt.phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
The smartphone doesn’t holds a metal uni-body design unlike most of its competitors and comes with a removable back cover. There is a fingerprint sensor placed at the back, which is claimed to have a fast response time. The smartphone packs a 3,ooo mAh battery coupled with quick charge 2.0 fast charging support.
The Smartron srt.phone comes with some launch offers under which the company is offering an extra Rs. 1,500 off on exchange and free Sachin Tendulkar back covers worth Rs. 599. Users will also get one-year of t.care extended warranty worth Rs. 1,499 for free with the purchase of srt.phone. There is no cost EMI option for the smartphone as well, which starts at Rs. 1,167 per month.
