Samsung Z4 with Tizen 3.0 OS and 4G VoLTE launched in India at Rs. 5,790

Samsung, today has introduced the ‘Z4’, its latest budget smartphone with company’s own Tizen 3.0 operating system. The Samsung Z4 was first launched last week on Friday and has now made its arrival in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5,790 and will be available through offline retail stores starting 19th May. The device is available in Gold color option in India and also comes with an additional Black colored back cover.

Commenting on the launch, Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Samsung India Electronics, said:

As the market leader, we at Samsung consider it our priority to facilitate this journey towards smartphones. Our affordable Tizen series has been instrumental in catalyzing the smartphone upgrade and with Z4, we will offer yet another compelling product to affordable segment consumers.”

The Samsung Z4 sports a 4.5 inches WVGA (480×800 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is powered by an 1.5 GHz Quad-core (unspecified) processor along with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB via microSD card. The smartphone, as mentioned earlier runs on Samsung’s own Tizen 3.0 OS.

For imaging, the Z4 consists of a 5 MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash for selfies in low light. The connectivity options of the smartphone include, Dual Sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS and Glonass. Samsung Z4 packs a 2,050 mAh battery for its powering and measures 132.9 x 69.2 x 10.3 mm along with 143 grams of weight.
