The South Korean giant, Samsung has yesterday launched a new Tizen OS based smartphone, Samsung Z3 for Rs. 8,490 in India. The Z3 will be available in Gold, Black and Silver color variants. The Samsung Z3 will go on sale from next week via Snapdeal and offline retail stores.
The Samsung Z3 comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz and paired with 1 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB of inbuilt memory, expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Z3 sports an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel front snapper with an aperture of f/2.2. The smartphone is packed with a 2600mAh battery.
Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS with A-GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It measures 141.6x70x7.9mm and weighs 137 grams.

We were encouraged by the huge popularity of Samsung Z1, the first Tizen OS powered smartphone that sold over one million units within six months of its launch earlier this year.”
