Samsung has launched its ‘Make in India’ tablet, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris. The tablet with iris-recognition technology is priced at Rs. 13,499.
The USP of this products is its biometric authentication feature, as it has an iris scanner that is Aadhar, STQC, and UIDAI certified. The Galaxy Tab Iris features a 7.0-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1.5 GB RAM. It bears 8 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 200GB with microSD and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and is backed by a 3600mAh battery. Connectivity options on the tab include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG. It measures 193.4 x 116.4 x 9.7mm and weighs 327 g.
