Samsung has extended its Galaxy Tab A (2016) series with a new tablet, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016). The tablet will be available in Germany and few other European countries from June 2016.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) TFT PLS display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor, paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 200GB with microSD. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It also bears a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 7300mAh battery and measures 155.3 x 254.2 x 8.2 mm while weighs 525 grams. It includes connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+ (Optional),WiFi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 + 5 GHz) , Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS / Beidou.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is priced at 289 Euros (approx. Rs. 22,000) for the WiFi variant and the LTE version is priced at 349 Euros (approx. Rs. 26,500). It will be offered in Black and White colors.
