Ahead of the Galaxy Note 7 roll out in India, Samsung has slashed the prices of its siblings, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge by more than Rs. 5,000. Both these smartphones were launched in March and are now available at Rs. 43,400 and Rs. 48,900.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 which was launched at Rs. 48,900 gets a price cut of Rs. 5,500, whereas the Galaxy S7 Edge, that was initially priced at Rs. 56,900 receives a price cut of Rs. 6,000. To recall, both these smartphone packs Exynos 8890 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, Android 6.0, Always on Display, 12MP dual pixel rear camera, and 5MP front camera. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge feature a 5.1-inch display and a 5.5-inch dual edge display, respectively.
