Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy Note 8 is most probably on the production line and the continuous leaks about the smartphone, from a while, are creating even more excitement. The smartphone is again up with a couple of new leaks revealing its possible design. Some leaked renders of Galaxy Note 8 have surfaced online along with a promotional poster which further gives us an idea about how the smartphone might look.
Talking about the leaked renders, they were first posted by 91mobiles and twitter user Onleaks. The Galaxy Note 8 in these renders holds a very different design from what we have seen in previous leaks. As seen in the images the smartphone holds a dual rear camera setup which is horizontally aligned. While a dual rear camera setup is spotted in many previous leaks but a horizontally aligned one is certainly the first we have spotted. The images also shows a considerably large camera bump on the rear.
The Galaxy Note 8 appears to sport a bezel-less design similar to that of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The earpiece, front camera, and sensors can be seen up top and one can also expect an iris scanner which was first spotted in Galaxy Note 7. The bottom of the device would have the USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm headset socket, speaker and cavity for the S pen stylus, again some thing that we’ve seen in previous leaks. At the rear, we can see a camera bump carrying the dual lenses, along with a flash and a fingerprint scanner placed towards the right.
Moving towards the Poster of Galaxy Note 8 it was originally posted on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The smartphone in poster doesn’t resemble much to the one in renders, infact relates more to the previous leaks. The images show that the smartphone holds a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup along with a fingerprint scanner placed on the rear below the camera. Here also the screen is looking similar to Galaxy S8 and S8+ with the so called infinity display.
Talking about some leaked specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to sport a 6.3-inch display, most probably with QHD resolution and could be powered by a Snapdragon 835 or an Exynos SoC along with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. The previous leaks also suggest that the dual camera setup will consist of a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens supporting dual photodiode and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. The report also states that it will support 3X optical zoom, dual 6P lenses and dual OIS as well.
