The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is starting to heat the rumour mill with continuous flow of leaks surfing up. There have been various rumours surfing online from a while, regarding the features and technology of the Galaxy Note 8. There is another fresh leak which revels a few more specifications details of the smartphone which is now up with a new code-name.
The tipster Evan Blass has apparently revealed through his tweet, that the code-name for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is reportedly ‘Samsung Gr3at’. Previous to this, the smartphone had surfaced up with the code-name ‘Great’ and the new code name also seems to be similar in slightly tweaked way.
Moreover, some key specifications of the Galaxy Note 8 were also leaked through a HTML5 test. The test is basically carried out to check latest version of browser and in this case it is the Samsung internet 5.2 browser version which is apparently running the Galaxy Note 8. As per the leak, the Galaxy Note 8 appears to be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but we might see it running on Android O considering its rumoured date of arrival.
Talking about some previously leaked specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is said to sport a 6.3-inch display, most probably with QHD resolution and could be powered by a Snapdragon 835 or an Exynos SoC along with 6 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. The earlier leaks also suggest that the dual camera setup will consist of a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens supporting dual photodiode and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. The report also states that it will support 3X optical zoom, dual 6P lenses and dual OIS as well.
