After being up with a few leaks, the Galaxy J7+ smartphone from Samsung has finally been unveiled in Thailand. The smartphone as rumoured, comes with dual rear camera setup and becomes the second smartphone from Samsung to do so. The Galaxy J7+ is priced at 12,900 Thai Baht (Rs. 24880 approx) and is available for pre-orders in Thailand till September 17th and will start shipping from September 22nd. The smartphone is available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options and also comes bundled with a free Samsung U Flex Headphones with all pre-bookings.
The Galaxy J7+ sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core processor with ARM Mali T880 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes with dual app feature which enables the users to run two WhatsApp accounts in a single smartphone.
In the optics department, the Galaxy J7+ holds a dual rear camera setup with a 13 MP, f/1.7 aperture primary sensor, and a 5 MP, f/1.9 aperture secondary sensor to capture depth information. The rear camera is accompanied with a single LED flash. Upfront there is a 16 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, enough to cater the needs of selfie lovers.
The smartphone holds a metal uni-body with a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and packs a 3,000 mAh battery to keep things ticking. The connectivity options include Dual sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4+5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The smartphone measures 152.4 x 74.7 x 7.9 mm.
