We have heard it before, and we have heard it now, that Samsung will be launching the improved model of Galaxy J5 and J7 with metal frames before Q2 2016. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has been spotted in leaked images again on the internet.
The latest image of Galaxy J5 (2016) shared by Winfuture website, shows the inclusion of metal frame and a design similar to that of the premium Galaxy A (2016) lineup. The image seems to be legit, as it is identical to the previous leaks. It will be offered in White and Gold color variants.
As per the GFXBench listing, the Galaxy J5 (2016) may sport a 5.2 inch HD screen with Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 410 chipset with 2 GB RAM. It might run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and have 16 GB of inbuilt storage. It will have a 13 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording.
However, there is no official word from the company regarding the smartphone, its price or its launch date.
