Samsung already launched the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) earlier this month in India, but now it seems like the company will also launch the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) soon, as the smartphone was recently certified by the FCC.
The FCC listing doesn’t reveal much except the model number SM-J210F and a 1,500mAh battery, which seems doubtful as its predecessor had a 2000mAh battery. However, the smartphone was also got listed on AnTuTu and Geekbench also, that reveals the other key specifications of the smartphone. As per the listing from both benchmarking websites, Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) could sport a 5-inch HD (720p) display and runs on 1.5Ghz Spreadtrum SC8830 quad-core processor, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
The smartphone may feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing sensor. It could run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based TouchWiz UI and is said to be priced at Rs. 7,000. Although no launch date has been announced yet, the smartphone is expected to go official soon.
