Samsung has launched a new budget smartphone in the Galaxy ‘J’ series, dubbed as ‘Samsung Galaxy J1 4G’ in India at a price tag of Rs. 6,890 (MOP). It supports 4G VoLTE and features S Bike Mode, Ultra Data Saving and S Power Planning.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G sports a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core Spreadrum SC7727SE processor, clubbed with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The Galaxy J1 4G packs a 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 720p video recording and a 2MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It’s unclear if it would be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop or Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Galaxy J1 4G is a dual-sim smartphone which is backed by a 2050mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It measures at 132.6 x 69.3 x 8.9mm and weighs in at 131 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G comes in Gold, Black and White colors.
