Samsung Galaxy Feel with 16 MP rear camera, 3 GB RAM and 4.7-inch AMOLED display launched

Samsung has launched its mid-range Galaxy Feel smartphone today in Japan. The device comes with some well-to-do specifications and appears to be skimmed down version of the Samsung Galaxy C7 smartphone. The Galaxy Feel will go on sale in Japan during mid-June, however the exact details of the price and the availability are still unknown. The smartphone is available in White, Black and Pink color options and is already up for pre-booking in Japan on NTT DoCoMo’s official website.

Coming down to the specifications, the Galaxy Feel sports a 4.7 inch HD (720 x 1280 pixel) super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The optic department of Galaxy Feel includes a 16 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. For connectivity there is 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, NFC and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The smartphone packs a 3,000 mAh battery coupled with quick charge support which is capable to charging the phone to 100 % in less than 2 hours.

Design wise the Galaxy Feel looks like it probably has a glass back along with metal frames. There is a square camera lens at the back, with LED flash placed right besides it. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner embedded in home button and comes with IP6X rating which makes the device dust and water resistant. The smartphone measures 138 x 67 x 8.3 mm and weighs about 149 grams.
