Samsung has launched its ‘Galaxy C7 Pro’ in India today. The smartphone was first announced in January and has finally hit the Indian market now. The phone is priced at Rs. 27,990 and will be exclusively available for sale via Amazon.in from April 11. The Galaxy C7 Pro comes in Gold and Navy Blue color variants.
The key specifications of the smartphone include a 5.7 inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 386 ppi pixel density. Under the hood, it has got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz along with an Adreno 506 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 256 GB via MicroSD card. The Galaxy C7 Pro runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
As far as optics are concerned, the smartphone comes with a 16 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture, both on the rear as well as on the front. The rear camera is backed by a dual led flash and comes with features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR.
Going towards the design, the Samsung Galaxy C7 holds a sleek 7mm thick uni-body metal design with a front mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone also bears a 2.5D curved glass on top of the display. Connectivity options for the phone include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth v4.2, NFC (near field communication), GPS, Type-C USB port, FM radio and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The on-board sensors for the Galaxy C7 Pro include accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and a digital compass. The device sports a 3,300 mAh battery with fast charging support. The smartphone measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 7 mm and weighs 172 grams.
