The next-generation Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphones are expected to be announced soon. The press renders of Galaxy A3 (2017) have already surfaced, and now press renders of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) have surfaced along with specification details.
Samsung would be launching the Galaxy A5 (2017) in four colour options – Pink, Black, Blue and Gold. The phone has curved edges and slim bezels on the side. On the front, it has the trademark home button below the display, a front camera, earpiece, Samsung branding and usual set of sensors.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is expected to sport a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-core Exynos 7880 SoC, clubbed with Mali-T860 MP4 GPU and 3GB RAM. On the camera front, it is expected to sport 16MP camera on both front and rear. It might come with 32GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) is likely to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a fingerprint sensor on the front. It could be backed by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options could be 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C.
