RDP ThinBook laptop with 14.1-inch display launched at Rs. 9,999

The Hyderabad-based company, RDP has launched India’s cheapest laptop, dubbed as RDP ThinBook. The ultra-slim laptop launched at Rs. 9,999.

The RDP ThinBook laptop features a 14.1-inch HD (1366×768 pixels) LED-backlit display and is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 SoC, clocked at 1.44GHz, with Turbo Boost up to 1.84GHz, coupled with 2GB of RAM. It bears 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. India’s most affordable laptop runs on Windows 10 Home OS.

The ThinBook sports a web camera and offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and microUSB. It is backed by a 10000mAh Li-Polymer battery that is rated to deliver up to 8.5 hours of backup.

RDP expects to sell between 30,000 to 40,000 ThinBooks this year.
