Panasonic Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 phones with rugged design launched at MWC 2016

Panasonic has launched two new smartphones, Panasonic Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The Toughpad Fz-F1 runs on Windows 10 IoT Mobile Enterprise and the Toughpad FZ-N1 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The feature that makes Panasonic Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 stand out from the crowd is its rugged design. They come with MIL-STD-810G ratings that will protect the phone from 6 feet drop or (shock, vibration, rain, dust, sand, altitude, freeze/thaw, high/low temperature, temperature shock, humidity), also an IP65 and IP67 rating so that phone is submersible up to 3.3ft. for 30 minutes.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 features 4.7-inch HD 1280 x 720 pixels daylight view-able display. It is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, paired with Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It comes with a 16 GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 64GB with microSD.

The Toughpad FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 sports an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 5 megapixel front facing camera. It is packed by a 3200 mAh battery and an optional 6200 mAh long life battery. Connectivity options on the phone includes WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, HSPA+, EDGE, GPRS, Angled 1D/2D barcode reader, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and GPS.

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-N1 will be available in WiFi model in March of 2016 at a price of $1,499 (Rs. 1,02,853 approx.) and the voice model will be introduced in summer 2016. And the Toughpad FZ-F1 will be available with data and voice in winter 2016 at a price of $1,599 (Rs. 1,09,715 approx.).
