Panasonic India has announced two new budget smartphones, the P50 Idol and P65 Flash priced at Rs. 6,790 and Rs. 8,290 respectively. The P50 Idol will be available in Fabric Silver and Fabric Gold colors whereas the P65 Flash offers Metallic Silver and Metallic Gold colors.
The Panasonic P50 Idol and P65 Flash both are almost similar in terms of specifications. For instance, both the smartphones are powered by 1.3GHz quad core (unspecified) processor, clubbed with 1GB of RAM and come with 8 GB of internal storage space, expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card. Both the devices boot Android Lollipop 5.1.
Another common feature which both smartphones have is the 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixel front snapper. The dual SIM smartphones feature connectivity options like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
The Panasonic P50 Idol and P65 Flash differ only in aspect of screen size and battery power. The P50 Idol offers a 5 inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels) IPS display and 2150mAh battery while the P65 Flash comes with a bigger 5.5 inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels) IPS display and 2910mAh battery.
