The Chinese manufacturer, Oppo has finally launched a new smartphone, known as Oppo A59 in China. The smartphone is priced at 1799 yuan (approx. Rs. 18,300) and will go on sale from June 18th.
The Oppo A59 features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved display with 1000:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor, paired with Mali T860 GPU and 3GB RAM. It offers 32 GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The A59 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture. It also houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture. It is backed by a 3075mAh battery and also includes a fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG.
The Oppo A59 comes in Rose Gold and Gold color variants. It measures 154.5 x 76 x 7.38mm and weighs 160 g.
