OnePlus fans are eagerly waiting for the OnePlus 5 smartphone to arrive, especially after the launch date being confirmed. There are hardly a couple of weeks to go before the smartphone is launched, but the leaks still continue to flow one after the other. There is yet another leak about the OnePlus 5 and this time it reveals the pricing details of the smartphone for India. Moreover, the company has released a new teaser which now confirms the design of the smartphone which seems identical to few previous leaks.
Talking about the leaked pricing details first, as per a report on True-Tech, OnePlus 5 will be launched in two different variants depending upon the RAM and internal storage. The variants include, one with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage and another with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The reports further mentions that the 6 GB RAM variant will be priced at Rs. 32,999 where as the 8 GB RAM variant will come with a price tag of Rs. 37,999.
The above leak falls inline with some previous rumours which indicated the possibility of two different variants of the OnePlus 5. Also it was speculated that the smartphone will come with a slightly heavy price tag which appears to be true. That being said the pricing details are still leaked ones and not official, hence nothing can be said on a firm basis yet.
Heading towards the teaser, the design of the smartphone is now pretty much confirmed and it resembles to the previous leaks where we saw a horizontally aligned dual camera. We can now safely say that the smartphone will indeed sport a horizontally aligned dual rear camera and will look nothing like the prototype images or some early leaks suggested. Infact, the design of OnePlus 5 somewhat resembles to the iPhone 7 Plus where the dual rear camera setup is placed on the top right corner accompanied with a dual LED flash. The smartphone in the teaser can been seen in black color, holding a horizontally aligned dual rear camera setup along with LED flash.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and also stated that it will be the thinnest flagship ever. Apart from this OnePlus is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display and will be running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat which could be topped with Oxygen OS 3.0.
