OnePlus 2 is set to launch on 27th July, but the company has already started to overrule some of its rumoured specifications. The latest announcement by company is that OnePlus 2 will feature a 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM making it very few of its kind.
Earlier this year, the Asus ZenFone 2 became known for being the first smartphone with 4 GB of RAM, offered in mid range price. But unlike ZenFone 2’s 4GB LPDDR3 RAM OnePlus 2 will be powered with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM which offers the same power consumption levels as its predecessor, despite offering twice the bandwidth performance. OnePlus says users will also see improvements to slow-motion video capture, low-latency gaming and other improvements as well.
Recently, the OnePlus CEO also confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will come in at under $450 (almost Rs 28,350) with this price tag OnePlus 2 is on the way of becoming the most popular smartphone of this year.
