Last month, the Motorola Moto M smartphone was leaked in live images which later got launched in China on 8th November. Now, the company has teased the launch of this all metal body smartphone in India on its social channels.
The Motorola Moto M is the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Helio P15 processor. The teaser includes “Coming Soon” caption along with a blurry image of the back of the phone.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Moto M sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P15 processor, clubbed with Mali T860MP2 GPU. The processor is paired with 4GB RAM.
The Motorola Moto M packs a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size and an 8MP front-facing camera with 85-degree wide-angle lens, 1.12um pixel size. It comes with 32GB internal memory that is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The hybrid dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear panel below the camera setup. It is backed by a 3050 mAh battery with Turbo charging. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and Dolby Atmos speakers. It measures at 151.35×75.35×7.85mm and weighs at 163g.
The Motorola Moto M comes in Gold and Silver colors and was launched in China for 1999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 19,860). It is expected to launch in India in the first week of December. Stay tuned for more updates!
