Motorola has finally started to provide Android 5.1 Lollipop update to its Moto X (1st Gen) users in India and many other countries. The news was announced by David Schuster, senior director for software product management at Motorola Mobility on Google+.
The latest update has plenty of improvements and with Android Lollipop, your phone will not connect to a Wi-Fi access point unless there is a verified internet connection.
Motorola recommend installing this update when the battery in phone is at least 50% charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network.
The update is rolling out through OTA, if the notification is not received you can check under Settings>About phone>System Updates.
