Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones now also available via offline retail stores in India

A few months ago Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones. Both the smartphones were the 5th iterations of its popular ‘G’ series and saw a great amount of popularity ever since they were launched. Both the smartphones until now were available only via online means, however now they will be available in offline stores as well.

The company has apparently confirmed to Gadgets Now that both the smartphones are available in offline retail stores across the country.  This further becomes more convenient for the buyers who can now get their hands on the device before buying it which was not possible earlier. Moto G5 Plus is available on Flipkart at a starting price of Rs. 14,999, while the Moto G5 is being sold on Amazon.in at Rs. 11,999. Both the smartphones will be available in offline stores at the same price.

Coming down to the specifications, Moto G5 sports a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone has got a 1.4 GHz Octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. Buyers can choose between two variants, one with 2 GB RAM and another with 3 GB RAM along side 16 GB of internal memory which can be further extended (up to 128 GB) via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a 2,800 mAh battery to power its self.

The optics on the Moto G5 include a 13 MP f/2.0 aperture rear camera with phase detection auto-focus (PDAF) which makes it easy to lock on to the target and a dual-tone LED flash, teamed with a 5 MP front camera that is equipped by a OmniVision OV5693 sensor and a wide angle lens.

Talking about the Moto G5 Plus, it sports a 5.2-inch Full-HD display and is powered by a 2.0 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 625 Processor. The smartphone comes in two variants, one with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage priced at Rs. 14,999 and another with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage priced at Rs. 16,999. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Moto G5 Plus holds a 12 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. The smartphone packs a 3,000 mAh battery to power itself.
