The Moto G4 Play that was launched in May finally goes on sale today for Rs. 8,999, as expected. The smartphone will be available exclusively from Amazon.in starting from today at 10 PM in Black and White color variants.
The Moto G4 Play features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It comes with a 16 GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 128 GB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
The G4 Play sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and 1080p video recording. On the front, it boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is packed with a 2800 mAh battery with Quick Charge and offers connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS. It measures 144.4x72x8.95-9.9 mm and weighs 137 g.
A few days ago, Motorola also launched the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus at Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 13,499 respectively.
