After launching the Moto G4 and G4 Plus in India, yesterday, Motorola has also announced a new budget 4G smartphone in the 4th Gen Moto G series, dubbed as Moto G4 Play.
The Moto G4 Play features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It comes with a 16 GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 128 GB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
The G4 play sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and 1080p video recording. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is packed with a 2800 mAh battery with Quick Charge and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS. It measures 144.4x72x8.95-9.9 mm and weighs 137 g.
Although the pricing of the Moto G4 Play has not been revealed yet, it is expected to be priced at Rs. 9,999 and may be made available for purchase from next month in the country.
