Motorola has extended its Moto G lineup with a launch of new smartphone, dubbed as Moto G Turbo Edition, in Mexico. The smartphone is priced at $283 (approx. Rs 18,600) and will be available from November 13 in Mexico only. The availability of smartphone in other markets has not been announced yet.
The Moto G Turbo Edition features a 5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM under the hood. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The Moto G Turbo Edition sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera on the front with f/2.2 aperture. It offers 16 GB on inbuilt storage space, expandable via microSD card. It is packed with a 2470 mAh battery and supports Motorola Turbo Power quick charging.
The Moto G Turbo Edition comes with IP67 certification, that means you can submerge the phone in up to 3 feet of water, for as long as 30 minutes. The Dual SIM smartphone offers connectivity options like Connectivity options include 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), and Bluetooth 4.0.
