Motorola has kept their fans excited about the year 2018 with, leaks that have surfaced online. In the latest leak, Evan Blass has uploaded renders of a smartphone, which is expected to be the new budget range smartphone Moto E5 Plus. From the looks of the renders, it feels like the smartphone comes with a premium front and back glass finish and features a tall 18:9 display. If the sources are to be believed, the Moto E5 Plus will be the first smartphone from the company to feature a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Moto dimple.
As for other specifications of the Moto E5 Plus, it is expected to come with the 5.8-inch 1440 x 720px IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The exact specifications of the processor are still unknown, but it will be a quad-core processor. The phone is likely to feature 3 GB RAM with 32 GB/64 GB storage combinations. As of now, it’s uncertain whether the smartphone will feature a dual camera setup on the back, but it’s rumored that the smartphone will feature a dual selfie camera setup with 5 MP and 2 MP sensors on the front.
For software, the Moto E5 Plus will come preloaded with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo, which most likely will facilitate future software upgrades. The power consumption details and the battery capacity could also not be recovered, but the smartphone might come with a Type-C USB port, so who knows it might even have fast battery charging. So, since this was just a renders leak, the pricing details of the phone are also unfortunately unavailable and as for the launch details, the phone is definitely expected to be launched at MWC 2018, along with the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus.
