Moto E4 reportedly available in retail stores in India priced at Rs. 8,999, Moto E4 Plus to launch soon

Lenovo-owned Motorola has reportedly made its Moto E4  smartphone available for offline sale in India. As per an offline mobile retailer, the smartphone is available for purchase at Rs. 8,999. While the company is teasing the Moto E4 Plus to launch soon, there is no official word about the arrival of Moto E4 yet.

According to a Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom who had recently posted a video showing a sealed reatil box of Moto E4, the smartphone is in stock with the retailer and can be purchased at the aforementioned price. Both the smartphones were launched last month in US where the Moto E4 was priced at $129.99 (Rs. 8,400 approx) and the Moto E4 Plus came with a price tag of $179.99 (Rs. 11,600 approx).

Talking about the specifications, the Moto E4 was powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor when it was launched in US, however the variant that arrives in India is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LCD display and comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, which is the latest version.

The imaging department includes an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture and a 5 MP front camera for selfies. The Moto E4 packs a 2,800 mAh battery which is removable. The smartphone will be available in Liquorice Black and Fine Gold color variants in India.

Coming towards the bigger variant i.e the Moto E4 Plus, its launch in India seems to be just round the corner with the company teasing the smartphone emphasizing its massive battery. It bears a 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. The smartphone was launched in two variants, one with 2 GB RAM and another with 3 GB RAM, accompanying 16 GB internal storage expandable upto 128 GB via microSD, however it is still unknown that which variant will be launched in India. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The optics of Moto E4 Plus include a 13 MP rear camera with auto-focus and f/2.0 aperture, alongside a 5 MP front-facing camera with flash. The smartphone houses a massive 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support which is one of the premium highlights of the smartphone.
