Moto C Plus with 5-inch screen and 4,000 mAh battery to launch on 19th June in India

After launching the ultra affordable Moto C smartphone, Lenovo-owned Motorola is now all geared up to unveil the Moto C Plus in India. The company is apparently sending out press invites for the launch of its Moto C Plus budget smartphone in India on June 19th.

The smartphone was announced last month globally and is hitting the shelves in India on 19th June. Talking about the specifications, the smartphone sports a 5 inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and has a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor under the hood. The device comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. The Moto C Plus also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat similar to that of Moto C.

The Moto C Plus holds an 8 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2 MP front camera, where both front and rear cameras are coupled with LED flash. The device packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery with 10w rapid charging which is also the highlight of the smartphone. The Moto C Plus was priced at EUR 119 which roughly translates to Rs. 8,300, hence we can expect it to be priced somewhere around this in India as well.

Comparing the smartphone with Moto C, which was lauched earlier this month, it sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processor. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded further upto 32 GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. In the imaging department, there is a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording support. There is also a 2 MP front facing camera again with LED flash.
