World’s Top PC Software maker Microsoft has added another budget smartphone in its Lumia Series. Microsoft has launched its cheapest Lumia smartphone named as “Lumia 430” in India at a price of just Rs. 5,299. Microsoft Lumia 430 was initially unveiled last month. It will be available for purchase from today only.
Like other Lumia smartphones Lumia 430 runs on Windows 8.1. However, Microsoft has assured that the Windows 8.1 smartphone will get an upgrade to Windows 10 once it rolls-out later this year. Following the typical Microsoft fashion the Lumia 430 will be available in two colors – Bright Orange and Black.
Lumia 430 is a Dual-Sim smartphone having a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) LCD display. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim out-of-the-box.
The Lumia 430 houses a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA camera at the front. The internal storage of Lumia 430 is 8 GB which is expandable via Micro SD card up to massive 128 GB. The phone is backed by a battery of 1500 mAh. Like other Lumia devices, Lumia 430 users will get additional 30 GB of storage space on OneDrive.
The Lumia 430 will take on the likes of popular Android smartphones such as the Moto E (2nd Gen), Xiaomi Redmi 2, Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V, Asus Zenfone 4 and recently launched Micromax Canvas Spark and other domestics brands.
