The Indian manufacturer, Micromax has extended its Canvas series with a new smartphone, called as Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus. The entry-level smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is priced at Rs. 3,999. It will be offered in Metallic Grey and Champagne Gold color variants and is now exclusively available on Snapdeal.
The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It is the company’s first smartphone to run on latest Android 6.0.
The Canvas Spark 2 Plus bears a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB.

Presently, Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus is the cheapest smartphone to offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow, earlier it was InFocus’s Bingo 10, which was launched at Rs. 4,299.
