On the camera front, it has 5 megapixel of rear shooter with LED flash and 2 megapixel of front-facing camera with face beauty mode for better selfies. The dual SIM smartphone offers connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and Micro USB 2.0. The only thing this smartphone lacks is 4G connectivity, but you cannot expect to get it all at this price, atleast for a year or so! 😉
The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 comes in Black color with a set of accessories such as charger, data cable, earphones, and screen protector. The affordable 3G smartphone will be available exclusive through Snapdeal via flash sale on September 30, while the registrations for the same will commence from September 23 at 10 AM.
Commenting on the launch, Vineet Taneja, Chief Executive, Micromax Informatics Ltd., said “The Canvas Spark proved to be a huge success for Micromax, selling over half a million units in less than two months of its launch. With the Canvas Spark 2, we are yet again reaffirming our commitment to increase the smartphone and Internet usage in the country.” He further added “Currently, smartphone penetration stands at 12 percent in the country and 3G adoption is also barely 10 percent, which presents a huge opportunity to upgrade. We believe that the e-commerce channel is also expanding and the 3-4K category will be the next frontier.”
The smartphone will face tough competition with devices like Micromax’s own Yu Yunique, Lenovo A2010 and Phicomm Energy 653 but if you are really looking for a 4,000 Rs phone, and can’t extend your budget it is a good choice.
