The Indian manufacturer, Micromax has launched two new smartphones, called as Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro, at its ‘Guts to Change’ event in Gurgaon, Delhi. The company has also unveiled its new logo and branding, along with several new devices, including smartphones, new televisions, and new tablets.
The company announced over 15 new smartphones including Micromax Bolt Supreme, Bolt Supreme 2, Bolt Q381, Canvas Spark 2+, Canvas Evok, Canvas Mega 2, Canvas Unite 4, and some others. However, the company launched only Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro, today.
Both the Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro feature a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixel) display with a pixel density of 401 ppi and run Android 5.1 Lollipop beneath Around UI. They both sport a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture. They are backed by a 3000mAh battery. So now lets take a look at other specs, which made them both distinctive.
Micromax Canvas 6:
The Micromax Canvas 6 has an unspecified MediaTek octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD card. It also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera and metal body along with a fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options on the dual Sim smartphone includes, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It comes in Gold color only.
Micromax Canvas 6 Pro:
The Micromax Canvas 6 Pro (seen above) is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795m) processor, coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM. It bears 16GB internal memory, expandable with microSD and sports 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 85.7-degree wide-angle lens.
The dual Sim smartphone offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It comes in black color only.
Both Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro are priced at Rs. 13,999 and will be available for pre-order from Micromax’s official website starting today.
