Meizu has launched its much awaited powerful budget smartphone Meizu M3 Note in India. The phone packs a beautiful and sturdy unibody metal design and is really very well-built, seeing the design, one cannot guess the phone costs just under 10k. If we look at the placement of buttons, the power and volume rockers rest on the right side and there is a physical home button on the front below the screen, which also integrates the fingerprint sensor but, there are no ‘back’ and ‘recent apps’ button on the phone, the home button itself does all these functions, off course inspired from the iPhones! The Meizu M3 Note sports a 5.5 inches Full HD screen which has very good display quality with good viewing angles. A 2.5D curved glass overlays the screen, which gives a good look and also feels nice in the hands. The phone is powered by the 1.8 GHz Mediatek Helio P10 Octa-core processor paired with 3 GB RAM, it gives good performance for medium usage but when it comes to heavy gaming the phone lags a little so, if you want a phone for gaming there are much better phones like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 around this price. It features a 13 MP rear camera which does pretty well in good lighting conditions but struggles in low light conditions, the 5 MP front camera does a good job though. It runs on the older Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s Flyme OS 5.1. It is a dual sim phone supporting 4G on both the slots. It comes with 32 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB via microSD card, but it has hybrid slot. The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate most of the times. The phone is backed by a big 4100 mAh battery which gives it a very good battery backup. Overall, the Meizu M3 Note is an extremely well-built phone for its price, it also packs decent performance, good features and a good battery life. It can be another good choice, specially if you give more importance to design, it can be a great choice.
