LG has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as ‘LG U’ in their home country South Korea. It has a glossy unibody finish and is just 7.7mm thick. The smartphone is priced at 396,000 Korean Won (approx. Rs. 23,120).
The LG U sports a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS In-Cell touch display. It is powered by a 1.14GHz Octa-core processor. The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM.
Coming to the cameras, the LG U sports a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. It comes with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The dual-sim 4G LTE smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is backed by a 3000 mAh battery. Other connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS . It measures 147.6 x 73.2 x 7.7mm and weighs 135g.
The LG U comes in White, Black and Pinks colors. It will be available in Korea from October 31st via LG U+, which is company’s own mobile carrier. However, there is no word about its Indian availability yet. Stay tuned for more updates!
