LG India has listed a new smartphone on their company’s site, dubbed as LG Stylus 2. The smartphone which was first showcased at MWC 2016, is priced at Rs. 20,500.
The LG Stylus 2 features a 5.7-inch HD (1280× 720 pixels) IPS in-cell touch display. It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon (unspecified chipset) processor, coupled with 1.5 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based LG UI 5.0 on top.
The USP of the smartphone is its Stylus pen which has a nano-coated tip which is more accurate than the rubber-tipped stylus that came with the G4 Stylus, says the company. The smartphone has several other software features to take advantage of the Stylus 2 pen, like Pen Pop, which will bring up a menu with shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner when the stylus is removed. The new Calligraphy Pen font will let users write as beautifully and decoratively as if using a fountain pen.
The Stylus 2 boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It is packed with a 3000 mAh battery and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. It measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs 145 g.
The LG Stylus 2 will be offered in Brown and Titan color variants, however, it is still unknown when the smartphone will go on sale.
