LG at an event today, launched an entire lineup of its 2017 OLED TVs. The highlight of LG 2017 OLED TVs is that they come with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and Technicolor’s colour science expertise. The LG 2017 OLED TV lineup consists of 5 different models, i.e 77/65W7, 77G7, 65/55E7, 65/55C7 and 65/55B7. The price of these OLED TVs start from Rs. 3.25 lakhs and goes up to as much as 30 lakhs.
The LG 2017 OLED TVs come with Active HDR for displaying next-generation HDR content designed to render brighter scenes and better shadow details. As per the company Active HDR allows the TVs to process the picture frame by frame, and insert dynamic metadata where needed. The TVs contain self-lighting pixels which enhances the picture quality to give an ultimate experience and according to LG only these new OLED TVs bear such kind of technology.
Apart from this, the OLED TVs also support a complete pile of HDR formats which includes, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma). The new HDR Effect feature in the TVs according to the company, processes standard definition content frame-by-frame to improve brightness and specific areas, enhance contrast ratios and render more precise images.

The LG 2017 OLED TVs run on latest WebOS, where the users can effortlessly navigate through the interface via Magic remote, by scrolling, gestures or voice commands. Looking at the design, the entire range is extremely thin and can be mounted in line with the wall like painting or wall paper. The top end model, sits flush against the wall and also comes with a Dolby Atmos certified sound bar.
