As scheduled, the Lenovo Zuk Edge smartphone is launched at an event in China. The smartphone was first leaked in live images last month, showing narrow bezels.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 86.4% screen-to-body ratio and 1.63mm narrow frame. Under the hood, it is powered by 2.35GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, it packs a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, CAF, 1.34μm pixel size, Samsung ISOCELL sensor, f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front-facing camera with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture. It has U-Touch fingerprint sensor that is hidden under the glass panel to unlock the phone in just 0.09 seconds. It also has a heart rate sensor on the back that can measure blood oxygen levels and Dirac HD Sound for Hi-Fi audio.
The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with ZUI 2.5 on top. It is backed by a 3100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, USB 3.1 Type-C. It measures at 142.9×74.5×7.68mm and weighs at 160g.
The Lenovo Zuk Edge comes in Ceramic White and Titanium Black colors. It is priced at 2299 yuan (approx. Rs. 22,460) for the 4GB RAM variant and 2499 yuan (approx. Rs.24,420) for the 6GB RAM variant. It is now available for order in China and goes on sale from 1st January 2017.
