Lenovo has introduced their new convertible laptop Yoga 700 running on Windows 10. Lenovo Yoga 700 is a hybrid laptop that is affordable and budget friendly for the consumers, allowing them to get a 2-in-1 laptop for less cost. The hybrid laptop can be used in four working positions tent, tablet, laptop and stand modes.
The company is offering Lenovo Yoga 700 in two screen sizes 11 inch and 14 inch both running on Windows 10. The display on both is 10-point Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display having a 700:1 contrast ratio, offering great and sharp visuals. Another common feature on both is the AccuType backlit keyboard designed efficiently to ensure the typing to be comfortable and easy on the eyes.
The 11-inch variant is powered by a 64-bit Intel Core m5-6Y54 processor supported with an 4GB of RAM & housing 128GB of SSD storage. The laptop inherits the Intel HD Graphics 515 GPU weighing around 1.1kg and is 0.62 inches thick, making it a good portable device to carry. The company claims the 40Whr Li-Polymer battery will provide the battery life of 8 hours.
14-inch Lenovo Yoga 700 is equipped with Skylake Intel Core i7 processor offered with Intel HD Graphics 520 with the option of adding an NVIDIA GeForce GT 940M to increase the user experience. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage with the opt of 256GB storage. The 2-in-1 laptop has 1.62 kg body developed of magnesium and comprises a 45Whr Li-Polymer battery stated to provide a battery life of 8 hours.
The Lenovo Yoga 700 is priced at $649 (approx. Rs. 42,500) for 11-inch version and $799 (approx. Rs. 52,200) for the 14-inch version in US. The availability and pricing of the hybrid laptop in India is not disclosed yet.
