The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus smartphone was unveiled at the Tech World 2016 event in San Francisco, along with Phab 2 and Phab 2 Pro smartphones. Today, the company has sent out media invites for the launch of the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus in India on November 8th exclusively on Amazon.in starting at 11am.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus sports a 6.4-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT8783 processor, coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
On the photography front, it packs dual 13MP rear cameras with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, Futjitsu Milbeaut ISPs, 1.34μm pixel, Laser Auto Focus, PDAF and an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 μm pixel. It comes with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The hybrid dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vibe UI on top. It is backed by a big 4050 mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear panel. It features Dolby Atmos speaker with 5.1 Dolby audio capture. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It measures at 88.3×173.89×9.6mm and weighs 218g.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus comes in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colors and it was introduced at $299 (approx. Rs. 19,950). However, exact pricing will be known at the launch event only. Stay tuned for more updates!
